A five member committee of Badminton Association of Abohar (1. Dr. Narendra Chattopadhyaya, 2. Mr. Shamsher Singh Dhillon, 3. Mr. Sudhir Kumar, 4. Mr. Krishan Verma, and 5. Mr. Suraj Kukkar) is made by the Chairman Mr. Sandeep Rinwa is looking after the smooth functioning of Nehru Badminton Hall, behind bus stand, Abohar.
HISTORY:
Badminton Association of Abohar is registered under Registration of Societies Act XXI of 1860 No. FZR 43 of 1999. The proceeding was held on 31.10.1999 at 06:00 PM in the premises of Nagpal Nursing Home, Jain Nagri, Abohar in the tenure of the then President Dr. Subash Nagpal, General Secretary Mr. Harish Rathi, Treasurer Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Patron Mr. S. L. Verma, (five) Vice-Presidents Mr. Sandeep Rinwa, Dr. G. S. Mittal, Mr. Aseem Munjal, Mr. Suneel Setia, and Mr. Vikram Munjal, Joint-Secretary Mr. Ramesh Kumar, Joint Treasurer Mr. Rakesh Dahuja in the presence of (eight) members Dr. Arun Jhamb, Mr. Chiman Verma, Mr. Kamlesh Dhawan, SDO. N. R. Goyal, Mr. Rohit Nagpal, Mr. Shagan Lal Batra, Mr. Manohar Rehlan and Mr. Sushil Aggarwal.
