MEMBERSHIP NORMS:

Anyone can apply for membership but the approval will be given by executive body of BAA, executive body has right to reject or accept the application.

To get a new BAA membership one has to pay Membership charges of ₹ 5,000.00 only.

A 50% discount on “Membership charges” (₹ 2,500.00) is allocated to students only.

Annual Maintenance Charges (AMC) is ₹ 2,400.00 only (in one calendar year from January to December). AMC is non-transferrable and non-refundable. Regular Members shall deposit their AMC in the month of January every year.

If a new member joins after January then he/she has to pay charges on “Pro rata basis“.

Calculation of Pro rata: [(No. of months he/she will play in calendar year / 12) x 2400]. For example, if anyone joins as a new member in the month of October then he/she has to pay AMC of that calendar year: [(3/12)x2400] = ₹ 600.00. Therefore, he/she will have to pay total amount of ₹ 5600.00 (5000+600).

If any BAA member fails to deposit the AMC in consecutive 2 years, his/her BAA Membership will be cancelled automatically on 1st of April of 3rd year with a grace of 3 months.

If any Cancelled-Member wants to rejoin he/she will be considered as a New Member and will have to pay membership charges again.

Regular BAA Members are those members who are regularly paying AMC and have all legislative rights.

Co-opted members are the non-playing and non-executive members of this association, who are ready to co-operate with us. They can take part in electoral process and will have right to vote but cannot become a part of any committee or body of this association. Annual subscription for such members would be₹ 500.00 only.

Minor members cannot take part in electoral process unless or until he/she may attain the age of 18 years before the date of election day.
